Betting Rules

RCI Regulations

No Action:

All postponed races are classed as "No Action" and all wager money is credited back to your account.

Accounts:

All account holders must be of legal age which is 18 or 19 years old, depending upon your residence.
All customer are only allowed to have a single account. Our system does not accept multiple accounts.
All accounts are for personal use only and only the registered account holder is allowed to place a wager from the account.
Account holder is solely responsible for all transactions and wagering placed through the account. You must protect the confidentiality of your account and PIN number.
Customer is responsible for its account in regards to their deposits, withdrawal and account balances. We do not send hard copy account statements.
Dormant accounts of over six months are terminated automatically.
Any effort to abuse the privileges of membership will result in termination of the account. Repeated abuse may result in the individual being black listed and/or it IP address blocked.
All accounts are held in US currency and deposits with other currencies will be converted into US Dollars at the rate offered by our bank at the time of deposit.
Funds held in the account bear no interest.

Wagering:

All bets must be placed before the start of the race. The system stops taking bets upon signal from the tote that the bets are closed. In some special cases, the betting may continue until all horses are at the gate. A notice will be posted on the race where such betting period is extended.
All bets placed or received after the start of the race are treated as void. For the purpose of determining the time of bet placed, the log files of our computers will be the determining time. The clock of our centrally located servers are aligned with Greenwitch time.
Although there is no limit to the amount wagered, we reserve the right to limit the size of the bet.
When you bet, you must see a bet number confirming your bet. If you do not see it, your bet has not gone through. We take no responsibility for incomplete bets.
The bets can be cancelled up to 1 minute before the start of the race. Each account is monitored for cancelled bets. A repeated canceling pattern will be treated as ill intention of the customer and it may result in termination of the account.
Customer is not allowed to wager any sums larger than the balance in their account.
The withdrawal of winnings is the responsibility of the account holder. The withdrawn funds are credited to your account in accordance with the policies of your bank. MTPBets transfers the withdrawn funds out of its account immediately after the request is submitted.
Any disputes related to your account must be sent in writing before we will initiate action.
You must maintain $5.00 balance in your account at all times. Your account will be suspended if the balance drops below this amount. This is done to ensure that your account never runs negative balance.

All pertinent information related to wagering is published on our site and every effort is made to ensure that the information is correct. In the event an error is made, we reserve the right to correct it upon discovery.
